In 2010, Queensland Music Festival commissioned Lawrence English to undertake the first state wide Site Listening for Queensland. Taking to the road on a number of field trips, he travelled from Camooweal to Cooktown and Eulo to South Kooroongara, seeking out the most evocative and unique sound spaces across the state.

This artist edition is a set of the 20 postcards designed by ORDNER featuring various locations which have been photographed and assembled with gps locations and short illustrative texts. The cards are housed in hand stamped recycled cardboard held with recycled red rubber bands.

The usb contains an exclusive composition by Lawrence English based on untreated field recordings and radically transformed elements derived from the location recordings. The composition will not be made available anywhere else.
