Landscape
From Zane Trow
desuetude… the condition of not being in use
notwithstanding sanctimonious by-laws, a set of abandoned swathes remain
seeking out small tracks and creek beds, overgrown paths lead to crumbling jetties between the wetlands and the river. amongst the rude wealth of suburban private and the fading ghosts of open public land, the remnants of an ancient living landscape remain – offering the imagination a past and … after long rotating decay … a future
each sonic in this collection has emerged alongside musings on a set of certain experiences amongst disused spaces – a hushed mise en scène – and can be listened to quietly, allowing the world to intrude
