As in our previous release, “sublingual infinities,” this collection of recordings is a continuation of the expansive collaboration between Stephen and I, further gaining momentum on the shifting of the poet’s voice as its own emergence through sound.
Our integration of words into sonic-destination in these tracks, creates interior narratives out of almost-dimensions. The process-driven language propels vocal utterances into never-quite-words, to find internal rhythms within the layers that explore the shift between the primary voice and its origin source.
In both “Seed Song” and “Seed Song Coda,” the voice and words of Anne Waldman, along with the voice and one-stringed ektara of Samita Sinha, incorporate additional opportunities for composition, music and melodic inspiration.
